We need to hear from you! The City of Oakland is updating its General Plan, which sets broad policies that future City decisions must follow. The new plan will cover these important areas:

We want to learn from the community about how and where Oakland could grow in the next 20 years - such as where new homes, jobs, parks, and transportation should be located. Oaklanders will be able to address specific topics for the General Plan at future surveys and community events.

Please respond to this brief 15-minute survey. Your input will help inform the next steps in the study. All feedback will remain anonymous. The survey closes on X, 2025.

How will my feedback be used?

Your input will help shape areas of focus and policy direction in the General Plan. General Plan policies are the City’s roadmap for achieving the community’s vision. A survey report summarizing feedback from this survey will be posted on the project website along with summaries of past community input and surveys once the results are analyzed.
